Avenue Innovations Inc. has won the prestigious 2007 da Vinci Award™.  

"The da Vinci Awards™ recognize individuals, organizations and corporations in the engineering, construction and technical fields whose design innovations have exceeded legally mandated requirements, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act, to further empower people with disabilities.  The hope is that encouraging such innovations will stimulate investment in and development of further creative advances, ultimately enabling everyone to participate and contribute in all aspects of society."

"One of the overall goals of this recognition venture is to honor those individuals and/or corporations in the engineering, construction and technical realm for their creative and innovative contributions on behalf of individuals with disabilities."

Award winners will be honoured at the Dinner with da Vinci™ celebration to be held on September 28, 2007 at The Ritz Carlton, in Dearborn, MI. The event will benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and is sponsored by General Motors.

It is particularly encouraging to know that awareness of the Handybar® now has a momentum all of its own. This is evidenced, in addition to the above, by unsolicited inquiries from would-be distributors in Turkey and Iceland, adding to those in twenty other countries to which the product is currently exported.
